Brie Larson has just announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend Alex Greenwald, People reports. It seems like 2016 is her year – it is only May and she has already won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her work in Room, hosted Saturday Night Live, and now this!

Larson was spotted in New York on the weekend flaunting her new shiny ring.

During her Oscar’s acceptance speech earlier this year she thanked Alex – “He’s the other half of the equation—how can you explain support? I mean, it goes beyond anything. He’s just my person, he’s my best friend.”
