It feels like everyone is getting their dose of nostalgia this weekend by watching one movie and one movie only: Happy Gilmore 2.
The cult classic, revived for a sequel by Netflix, was always going to be big but as viewers sat down to finally watch the film when it dropped on Friday July 25, surprise cameo after surprise cameo proved just how many big names wanted in on this production.
From golfing legends to famous influencers and even Adam Sandler’s own family, here are some of the biggest Happy Gilmore 2 casting surprises.
Who Has A Cameo In Happy Gilmore 2?

Margaret Qualley
The Chanel ambassador and Golden Globe-nominated actress flexed her comedic muscle as part of a group of golfers who find themselves playing a casual round with the famous Happy Gilmore. The highlight of her performance? Twerking in a sandpit and jumping into the splits.

Travis Kelce & Bad Bunny
Kelce’s list of acting credits has grown again with a cameo as an over-eager, brown nosing waiter in the clubhouse. Joining him was Puerto Rican heartthrob Bad Bunny who, after being fired from his role as a server, lands the coveted gig of Gilmore’s caddy.

Alix Earle & Hot Ones
You may have spotted a few of your favourite influencers cameo-ing as themselves while interviewing the film’s villain, Frank Manatee, during a press tour. Among them were Alix Earle and Hot Wings’ Sean Evans.

Andam Sandler’s Family
Happy Gilmore 2 is a family affair with Sandler’s two daughters and wife appearing in the film. His youngest daughter, Sunny, playing his on-screen daughter, his wife, Jackie, as her dance teacher, and his eldest daughter making an appearance in his AA meetings.

Marcello Hernández
We probably should’ve guessed that a Saturday Night Live star would pop up at some point when Gilmore’s character spoke about his many SNL appearances at the start of the film. Yet, nothing could have prepared us for the delight of spotting Marcello Hernández frantically speaking Spanish to Bad Bunny’s character before running off. Later in the film. he serves as target practice for the professional golfers.

Post Malone & Eminem
Musician Post Malone makes a brief cameo as a cowboy hat-wearing commentator for the Maxi golf league. Meanwhile, rapper Eminem plays the son the first film’s infamous heckler, taking on a similar duty before getting eaten by a crocodile. Yikes.

Kid Cudi
Musician Kid Cudi also added to the long list of musicians making cameos in Happy Gilmore 2 appearing briefly at the end of the film as as undercover agent.
Cudi revealed during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he manifested his role in the film after hearing about it on social media.
Revealing that depsite never meeting him prior to filming, Cudi had sampled Sandler’s voice on many of his tracks, then upon learning of the sequel he reached out via his agent to land the gig.

All The PGA Golfers
What’s a golf movie without a few (or a lot) of cameos from famous golfers? John Daly, Jack Nicklaus, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and many more can be spotted.
