4. Miss Governor, Season 1 Part 2

Tyler Perry brings us more high-stakes drama in Mississippi’s political arena, as Terri J. Vaughn’s Lieutenant Governor Antoinette goes head-to-head with the old guard. It’s glossy, it’s gutsy, and it’s giving “Scandal” energy with a Southern drawl.

7. My Life with the Walter Boys, Season 2

High school angst, swoony love triangles, and big feelings return in season two of this YA fave. Jackie’s back in Silver Falls and things are, well, rather complicated. Think The Summer I Turned Pretty meets Gilmore Girls, but with more heartthrobs.
8. Two Graves

When two teen girls go missing in a sleepy Spanish seaside town, one furious grandmother decides she’s had enough of waiting for justice. Revenge, mystery, and stunning coastal cinematography ensue. File under: dark, gripping, and wildly satisfying.
