Aaron Phypers, the estranged husband of RHOBH alum, Denise Richards has filed for divorce after six-years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind the split.
News of the divorce filing comes mere months after Richards, 54, swore she’d never go down the path of separation again on her Bravo show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.: “I’ll never get divorced again, even if we hate each other.”
The sentiment was echoed by her husband, Phypers, who sat next to Richards on the sofa as she expressed her disdain, adding that they’d simply “get different homes” if it became necessary.
As it happens, the separate dwellings theory didn’t quite pan out, with Phypers filing for divorce from Denise Richards on July 7 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
While marriage breakdowns are hardly an anomaly in Hollywood (or anywhere else to be fair) the details of Phypers’ request for spousal support have raised a fair few eyebrows.
Denise Richards’ Divorce Details Revealed
According to US Weekly, Phypers told the court that while he used to be self-employed at a wellness centre from November 2018 to October 2024, he’s currently unemployed.
“I had to close down my business last year and have made [no] income since,” he explained.
Phypers estimates that Richards takes home an average monthly income of $250,000 (US) from various sources including OnlyFans, television shows, brand deals and booked appearances. He also admitted his personal income was “zero”, while claiming his monthly expenses totalled $105,000 (US).
Per US Weekly, the detailed breakdown consists of the following:

- Repairs: $7000
- Child Care: $7000
- Groceries: $10,000
- Eating Out: $15,000
- Utilities: $8000
- Laundry: $5000
- Clothing: $20,000
- Phone: $500
- Entertainment: $15,000
- Auto Expenses: $1500
As part of the settlement, Phypers has also asked to retain ownership of “all his power tools and a 2018 motorcycle” which are allegedly his only assets.

Aaron Phypers was previously married to Desperate Housewives actress, Nicole Sheridan.
The ex-couple married in December 2015 but divorced after just six months citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Richards was previously married to Charlie Sheen, who she shares daughters Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, with.
Phypers and Richards married in 2018, and despite raising her youngest adopted daughter Eloise, 14, together, the estranged couple share no biological children.
