Prior to dating Taylor Swift, few people beyond the sporting world cared about Travis Kelce’s dating life. Yet, while he hadn’t reached Swift-level fame, he was certainly a household name in the NFL, and a major catch to those who knew of him.
In his pre-Taylor era, Kelce had dipped his toe into the broader zeitgeist via his E! reality TV dating show, Catching Kelce. The series tracked Kelce’s attempt to find a girlfriend, in the style of Love Island or The Bachelor. Needless to say, his rugged handsomeness and Golden Retriever energy certainly won a few hearts!

Travis Kelce and Zuri Hall
2022 – 2023 (Rumour)
Prior to Taylor, Travis Kelce was most-recently linked to Access Hollywood correspondent, Zuri Hall. The rumour mill went into overdrive when Hall made an appearance in Kelce’s VIP suite at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October 2022. Speculation continued for a few months, however, Kelce referred to himself as single in early 2023. Meanwhile, Zuri told Page Six in 2024 that “I laugh that stuff off, particularly when rumours aren’t true,” in reference to her alleged relationship with Kelce.
Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole
2016 – 2023
Travis Kelce’s most significant past relationship was with broadcaster and entrepreneur Kayla Nicole. Per his M.O., Kelce first showed an interest in Kayla via Instagram, where he dropped a few strategic likes. “I was just stalking her and then finally on New Year’s, she gave in,” Kelce said, in jest to E! News in February 2022. “And, you know, New Year, new me. She just shot her shot, jumped in my DMs and the rest is history.”
Throughout their romance, Kayla and Travis made a bunch of public appearances, including several red carpets. However, the on-and-off relationship was plagued with speculation of Travis’ infidelity. Kelce has denied the rumours on X, writing: “This is fake news… not why Kayla and I broke up”.
There were also suggestions that Travis didn’t contribute financially to the relationship, which both parties have denied was a factor. Travis and Kayla do reportedly share pets, two dogs named Chauncey and Rambo, which his ex-girlfriend says she takes care of. On her podcast, she appeared to take aim at Kelce for leaving her to pay a $2000 vet bill.
The on-and-off relationship ended for good in May 2022.

Travis Kelce and Maya Benberry’s relationship began on-screen in his reality TV dating show, Catching Kelce. Maya ended up winning the series, and the two dated for several months after the show wrapped in 2016. There appears to be a little bad blood between the two, with Maya saying he cheated on her—a claim Kelce denies.
