Arguably the most glamorous and prestigious of the major sporting events, Wimbledon’s 2025 final drew an unsurprisingly star-laden crown, including a royal presentation from Princess Catherine of Wales.

The Princess was joined at the All England Lawn Tennis Club by her son, Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte to present the Wimbledon trophy to the grand final winners.

Kate looked regal as ever for the rare formal outing in a cobalt blue dress, perfectly accessorised with a wide-brim straw hat and Ralph Lauren celia calfskin pumps. The day prior for the women’s Wimbledon final the PRincess donned tennis whites with a chic Self-Portrait dress.

Looking on from the crowd, it appeared half of Hollywood had taken to the stands; Nicole Kidman was seen chatting to Anna Wintour while Paul Mescal reunited with his All Of Us Strangers co-star, Andrew Scott.

The celebrity sighting didn’t stop there – Matthew McConaughey, Keira Knightley, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Jodie Comer and Orlando Bloom were all spotted amongst the spectators.

Who Won The Men’s Wimbledon 2025 Final? 

It was Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner who took out the 2025 Wimbledon championship in his match against Carlos Alcaraz. It was a gripping match with Sinner eventually claiming the title 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. The 23-year old holds a firm grip on the no.1 world ranking, this making his fourth grand slam title.

On her official Instagram account, Kate shared a photo of herself presenting Sinner with the Wimbledon trophy.

“What a final! An amazing performance from both players. Well done @janniksin on your first @wimbledon Championship! ??,” she captioned the post. 

Who Won The Women’s Wimbledon 2025 Final? 

The women’s Wimbledon final, held one day prior, told a very different tale with Iga Swiatek taking home the title against Amanda Anisimova in a heartbreaking first. Swiatek defeated the U.S. tennis player in a clean sweep, 6-0, 6-0, the first ever seen at the 114-year-old championship.
